CATHECHETICAL WEDNESDAY
FORMED Presence Session 4: "Biblical Foundations with Dr. Tim Gray" April 15, 2020
We continue our catechesis with teaching on The Eucharist. We will finish the online video course called "Presence: The Mystery of the Eucharist". The fourth and final session is called "Biblical Foundations with Dr. Tim Gray". In this talk, Dr. Gray helps us to answer objections to the teaching on the Eucharist. He considers objections that arise from four groups: ancient Jewish, Roman pagan, Protestant reformers, and contemporary secular. Examining closely key Scriptural texts, Dr. Gray helps us to answer objections to our belief that Jesus is truly and substantially present in the Eucharist. It is just over one hour in length. We suggest that you watch it and then take some time after the session to think about what you saw and share with others if you have the opportunity.
