Please join the York Community as we celebrate Christmas through Music on January 3, 4, & 5. Groups and soloists from around York will be offering a different variety of music at each of the evening concerts starting at 7:00pm. Refreshments will be served. Concerts are open to the public.
All boys and girls ages 9 to 14 are invited to participate in the local level of competition for the 2020 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship. The local competition will be held Saturday January 4 , 2020 in the St. Joseph gym. Registration and warm-ups begin at 6pm with shooting starting at 6:15pm A boy and girl winner will be determined for each age and will be based on 15 consecutive foul shots. Ages 9-11 will shoot from a 12 foot foul line. Ages 12-14 will shoot from the regulation 15 foot foul line. Winners will receive a Champion certificate and will represent St. Joseph in the district level contest with an opportunity to advance to the regional and state contest. CHRISTLIFE is coming to St. Joseph’s Parish and our core team is looking for people who know Jesus and want to help others come to know Him. After each of our Masses the weekend of January 11-12, 2020 members of the core team will be in the St. Francis Meeting Room to show a short video and answer all of your questions. "UNPLANNED Morning of Hope, Healing and Reparation" Nothing is impossible with God. He touches the deepest wounds of our hearts and offers hope, healing, love and mercy. Come and experience God's consolation and Abby Johnson's radical transformation from Planned Parenthood Director to a powerful witness of God's abundant mercy. Everyone is invited to a Saturday morning of reflection on January 18 featuring Abby Johnson's true story in the movie "UNPLANNED" and culminating in God's message of Divine Mercy during Adoration and Holy Hour. Suggested start for "UNPLANNED Morning of Hope, Healing and Reparation” is in the Divine Mercy Chapel for 8 AM daily Mass followed by light breakfast and movie in the meeting rooms at 9 AM. This morning of reflection will conclude with Holy Hour, Adoration and Confession at 11 AM in the chapel. Please consider attending all or part of the morning and praying for those touched by abortion in our families, in our friendships and in our nation. There is no sin beyond God's forgiveness.
