The Knights of Columbus, Bishop McDevitt 4th Degree Assembly, will be hosting their 3rd Annual Cooking Competition on Friday, May 9th, at 6 PM in the St. Francis/St. Clare rooms. Anyone interested in providing a prize-winning entrée, side dish or dessert to be sampled/judged should notify Kelly Brown no later than 6 PM May 5th via email at: [email protected] or call/text 717-668-0509. Cooking competitors may present one, two or three entries. This year’s prizes will be $100 for the best entrée, $100 for the best side dish, and $100 for the best dessert. There will be runner up prizes in each recipe category of $50 each. In addition to the $450 in cash prizes, winning competitors will receive a framed certificate and bragging rights for one year. Beth Downing, who won the entrée and side dish competition the past two years, will not be competing. She will be the entrée judge this year. Suzanne Piccolo and Bill Fullerton will be returning as the side dish and dessert judges, respectively.
