Multilingual Rosary at 11 AM
Procession of Flags at 11:30 AM Mass
Multicultural Reception afterward
From the day of Pentecost, the Catholic Church is made up of people from all nations and therefore speaks all languages. For this reason, St. Joseph Parish celebrates a Multicultural Pentecost, this year on May 19th. Parishioners representing various ethnic cultures from our Parish community gather in their native dress for the Procession of Flags at the start of the 11:30 AM Mass. After Mass, there is a multicultural reception of volunteers (including children), coming together from every continent who bring their ethnic foods to share.
We are looking for representatives from various countries and cultures for the reception. Those interested in participating, please contact Barbara Ochalski at [email protected] or (609) 902-4620 with: what country you will represent, what dishes you will bring, & how many tables you will need.
