Join us on Friday, Jan. 3rd at 9:30 AM for our January J.O.Y. get-together. Historian and author Scott Mingus will present “Civil War Chaplains” as our first speaker for 2025!
On Jan. 1st, we celebrate the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God. It is a Holy Day of Obligation. We will have 2 Mass times: Vigil Mass at 5 PM on Dec. 31st, and 8 AM and 10 AM on Jan. 1st.
“What do you want for Christmas?” We ask each other this often before the holidays. Yet how many of us actually take a few minutes to kneel before the infant Jesus and ask Him what He wants?

Christmas is the time to celebrate the miracle of the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and joyfully proclaim that "For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Messiah and Lord." (Luke 2: 11) It is a time to remember the birth of the Prince of Peace who continues to break through the darkness of the world, guiding us to share His love with all, and bring His peace to our world.
The Parish Office will be closed starting noon Monday, Dec. 23rd through Wednesday, Jan. 1st. We will reopen 8 AM Thursday, Jan. 2nd. If there is a sacramental emergency (someone is in need of Last Rites), call 717-755-7503 and press 1.

"Advent begins this weekend; it is a season rich with anticipation and reflection as we prepare once again
to commemorate the birth of the Christ Child. Advent is a sacred time when we prepare our hearts and
minds to celebrate the wondrous gift of our Savior, who, out of immense love, chose to take on human
form so as to experience our joys and sorrows, and to invite us into an everlasting relationship with Him."
