On Jan. 1st, we celebrate the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God. It is a Holy Day of Obligation. We will have 2 Mass times: Vigil Mass at 5 PM on Dec. 31st, and 8 AM and 10 AM on Jan. 1st.

“What do you want for Christmas?” We ask each other this often before the holidays. Yet how many of us actually take a few minutes to kneel before the infant Jesus and ask Him what He wants?

Sunday, January 5, 2025 at 12:15 PM, at SAINT PATRICK CATHEDRAL. The Italian Apostolate Ministry Committee will provide a reception after Mass.

Christmas is the time to celebrate the miracle of the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and joyfully proclaim that "For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Messiah and Lord." (Luke 2: 11) It is a time to remember the birth of the Prince of Peace who continues to break through the darkness of the world, guiding us to share His love with all, and bring His peace to our world.

There will be NO Eucharistic adoration on Thursday, Dec. 26th. However, there WILL BE confessions during its normal time, 4-5 PM.

The Parish Office will be closed starting noon Monday, Dec. 23rd through Wednesday, Jan. 1st. We will reopen 8 AM Thursday, Jan. 2nd. If there is a sacramental emergency (someone is in need of Last Rites), call 717-755-7503 and press 1.

Aging religious need your help. Donations provide for the care, medicine, and daily needs of more than 24,000 senior sisters, brothers, and religious order priests who have dedicated their lives to service. Please give to the Retirement Fund for Religious this weekend.

Any child in 2nd grade and up are welcome to sing in the Children and Teen choir for the 4 PM Christmas Eve service. Rehearsal will be on Friday, Dec. 20th at 6:30-7:30 PM in the church. Please email Stephen Falencki at [email protected] to sign up!

We will carol this year at Pleasant Acres on Tuesday, Dec. 17th at 2:30 PM. Interested people should contact Millie Imboden at [email protected] as soon as possible.
