Notice to parishioners: Starting Monday, April 1st, there will be NO 6:45 AM Mass all week (April 1st–5th). We will ONLY be having Mass at 8 AM (and at 8:30 AM on Friday, April 5th).
The Parish Office will be closed at noon on Wednesday, March 27th, and remain closed through the Triduum and Easter Monday. We will reopen on Tuesday, April 2nd. Have a blessed Easter!
Recently, Archbishop Timothy P. Broglio, President of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, and Bishop Michael F. Burbidge, Chairman of the USCCB Committee on Pro-Life Activities announced a nationwide invitation to prayer in advance of the U.S. Supreme Court hearing oral arguments in a case on the accessibility of chemical abortion (abortion pills). Bishop Senior asks parishioners to join him and devote a few moments in prayer each day from Monday, March 25 through June, when the Court's decision is expected, asking for the intercession of Saint Joseph, the Defender of Life. Please consider spending one hour a week before the Lord in Eucharistic Adoration. We are in need of adorers, especially for the 11 AM, 12 noon and 2 PM hours, as well as substitutes.
Think about getting out to help a neighbor in need. Consider volunteering for SpiriTrust Lutheran Home Care & Hospice. Make friendly visits to hospice clients in York County or make supportive phone calls to grieving families. This weekend our parish will take up the Catholic Relief Services Collection. Funds from this provide food to the hungry, support displaced refugees, and bring Christ's love and mercy to vulnerable people here and abroad.
