Due to the Diocesan Priests’ Workshop during the first week of October, there is a change to the Mass schedule that week. From Sept. 30th until Oct. 4th, there will be NO daily Mass at St. Joseph, as well as no Confessions or Adoration on Thursday, Oct. 3rd.

On behalf of the entire Diocese of Harrisburg, I write to offer prayers and many blessings to all of our Hispanic sisters and brothers for Hispanic Heritage Month. From September 15 to October 15, we celebrate the rich tapestry of cultures, traditions, and faith the Hispanic communities bring to our local Church.

Our Student Sponsorship Drive will occur before and after all masses on Sept. 28th & 29th, as well as Oct. 5th & 6th. If your heart calls you to help in this mission, please meet with members of the alumni team on one of those days in the St. Clare room.

Please join St. Joseph Parish on Sunday, Sept. 29th, at 11:30 AM for the Ninetieth Anniversary celebration of the “Blue Mass” to honor—to pray for—to bless law enforcement & emergency personnel—our police officers, fire fighters, and correctional officers.

The Jamaican Mission Team will host a bake sale before and after all Masses on Sept. 21st and 22nd. Purchase some delicious treats and support the mission!

On Thursday, Sept. 26th, from 6 to 7:15 PM in the Church, the eighth-grade parents from the St. Joseph Religious Education program and York Catholic Middle School will meet to discuss Confirmation for 2025. We look forward to seeing you there!

On Tuesday, Sept. 17th, from 6 to 7:15 PM in the school gym, the second-grade parents from the St. Joseph Religious Education program and St. Joseph Catholic School will meet to discuss First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion for 2025. We look forward to seeing you there!

Daily Mass THIS Friday, Sept. 6th, will be at 8:30 AM, as we switch to the school-year/winter schedule. The first SJY School Mass will be NEXT Friday, Sept. 13th.

Learn more about God and make authentic connections with other women at Walking With Purpose. The group will begin with an Open House on Thursday, Sept. 12th, at 9:30 AM in the St. Francis Room.

Join us Monday, Sept. 16, at 6 PM at the Venture Center, 800 East King St, York PA 17403 (formerly the United Way building) to learn more and ask questions.

Join us for a 10-week study of the Doctors of the Church. Sessions start Monday evening, Sept. 9th, from 7-8:30 PM or Wednesday mornings, Sept. 11th, from 9:30-11 AM.
