Erin Maiolino was born and raised in Lower Bucks County in the suburbs of Philadelphia. She is the oldest of six children—the first five are girls with thirteen years between her and her “baby brother.” Erin’s elementary education was formed by the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary who taught at
her elementary school, Assumption BVM. She graduated from Villa Joseph Marie High School. After High School, Erin attended Arcadia University and earned a bachelor’s degree in English. After fifteen years away from academia, she returned to Villanova University where she earned her Master’s Degree
in Church Management in 2012.
Erin has been married to her wonderful husband, Ralph since 1995 and they have three sons—Ralph, Frank and Dominic. Erin is a member of St. Patrick Parish in York. She loves working at St. Joseph’s—the epitome of a Vatican II parish. It’s a place that embraces the role of the laity, using their skills and
talents to assist in the secular administration of the church.
