Every Thursday Jesus is present in a special way through Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 8:30 AM-5:00 PM in the Divine Mercy Chapel. Though all are welcome any time to pray, at least one person must be scheduled with the Blessed Sacrament at all times.
Millions of mothers have watched their children abandon their Catholic faith in a chaotic, stressful and struggling world. Join with other Catholic women who are being called by the Holy Spirit to imitate St. Monica as they attend this prayer ministry in their parishes. Like St. Monica, we pray for our children to return to the practice of their Catholic faith, and for our children to always stay close to their faith. We are a group of mothers, young and old, who believe in the mother’s power of prayer.
Take Mary into your home and unite yourself and your family. Pray the Holy Rosary. Sign up in the binder in the hallway near the ushers’ closet (as you turn toward the narthex)
Compassion and the love of knitting and crocheting have been combined into a prayerful ministry and spiritual practice which reaches out to those in need of comfort and support, or even celebration. Many blessings are prayed into every shawl. The making of a prayer shawl is a spiritual practice which embodies our thoughts and prayers for the receiver. In addition to the Prayer Shawl, other items that we produce include lap robes, afghans, baby blankets, baby sweaters, hats, wristers, scarves, stuffed animals and other miscellaneous items. Many of our finished projects are also donated to local organizations within our community to include Women's Health Centers, Hospitals, Food for the Poor, and Cancer Centers.
Regnum Christi is a spiritual family in the Catholic Church made up of lay members, consecrated men and women, and the priests and brothers of the religious congregation of the Legionaries of Christ, who all share the same Christ-centered, contemplative and evangelizing charism. Regnum Christi members seek to grow in a personal relationship with Christ through prayer, live holiness in their vocation and state of life, build and form a vibrant community of apostles, and evangelize with Christian boldness. Our motto: Love Christ, Serve People, Build the Church. At SJY we have several small groups of women who meet weekly.

Rosary—Tuesday Evenings
Gather in union as brothers and sisters in Christ to pray the Holy Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet as a Catholic faith community, for both worldly concerns and personal intentions. The rosary prayer group is a diverse and inclusive church ministry. Attendance is fluid. Every 6-8 weeks, the group members are invited to voluntarily meet for dinner prior to our prayer meeting for camaraderie and fellowship.
