We need one another as the Mystical Body of Christ to study the Word of God and our rich deposit of Faith. It is never too late to begin this journey, and if you are interested, you are invited to join us every Thursday from 6:30 -7:45 PM in the St. Francis Room as we walk, verse-by verse, through books of the bible with presentations and group discussions. All are welcome anytime.
Join us as we dive into different Catholic studies of interest, which have included The Early Church, Angels & Demons and Doctors of the Church. We offer the same study on Monday evenings and Wednesday mornings, both in the church meeting rooms. For current events refer to the bulletin.
We believe that it is our responsibility as husbands and fathers to lead our families to heaven. By gathering together we can learn more about our faith, grow in our spirituality, and strengthen our brothers in Christ. We meet every other Sunday night for two hours at the church. Each meeting consists of prayer, sharing, discussion (book or video series), and fellowship. We also have a picnic in the summer with our families.
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults is a process of Rites, catechesis, and spiritual formation that prepares men and women who are called by God to join the Catholic faith and receive the Sacraments of Initiation. The team consists of the Pastor and clergy of the parish, the OCIA Coordinator, catechists, and parishioners who desire to welcome new members into the community and help them grow in their relationship with God. The participants are those who wish to learn more about the Catholic faith and include unbaptized adults and children of the age of reason; baptized Christian adults and children from other denominations; and uncatechized adult Catholics needing 1st Communion and Confirmation. Run by local lay women volunteers, approved by parish pastors, and supported by WWP national staff, our program incorporates at-home Scripture study, weekly small group discussion, and monthly talks on relevant study material. Each parish program is led by volunteers who received online training and ongoing mentoring through our acclaimed leadership development program.
The Youth & Young Adult Ministries of St. Joseph Parish seek to bring young people into an intimate relationship with Christ through His Church. We seek to create disciples and develop Christian leaders who will lead others to Christ.
