“When A Loved One Dies by Suicide,” produced by Sanctuary Mental Health is an 8-week video series. In this group, we accompany each other in a setting where free expression of grief is acceptable, confidentiality is observed, and compassion and non-judgmental attitudes prevail as we encounter Divine Mercy. Meetings are in the Solanus Casey House, 405 Quaker Dr, York, (across the street from the school) on Thursdays from 6:30-8:00 PM.
We are a group of Catholic women offering spiritual support for one another in our struggles with chronic illness and physical pain. We meet weekly to study Scripture, grow in faith through friendship with Christ, and offer prayer for one another. We also pray specifically for new parishioners and deceased members of our parish and their families. Those who participate are bound to maintain confidentiality. We meet weekly on Wednesdays 1:00-3:00pm in the church meeting rooms.
Journey with us as “senior” Catholics! We meet the 1st Friday of each month from 9:30-11:30 AM in the church meeting rooms for fellowship and interesting talks on a variety of subjects; and at a local restaurant on the 3rd Monday of each month from 11:00 AM-12:30 PM to “Feed the Soul”. Bus trips also planned! For current events refer to the bulletin.
St. Joseph Parish is home to many Vietnamese parishioners who are also members of the Vietnamese Association of York. The Vietnamese Community participates in many spiritual and social events of the parish.
